Hardy and Miller return for one final investigation in Broadchurch

We must confess that, like many viewers, we didn’t exactly love the second series of Broadchurch but we reckon the third and final run of the thriller is set to be as addictive as the brilliant first series!

It certainly hits the ground running when farm shop worker Trish (a moving performance from Julie Hesmondhalgh) reports that she has been raped.

David Tennant and Olivia Colman are, as usual, on cracking form as detectives Hardy and Miller, gently trying to coax information out of Trish to establish where and when the attack happened.

But they’ll have their work cut out as circumstances prove more complex than they expect...
