Richard Ayoade leads five famous faces into the dome to win money for charity in a new series of Celebrity Crystal Maze

Richard Ayoade (pictured above) presents a new run of the classic game show with five celebrities testing their abilities in four different zones to win the crystals and hopefully earn some cash for charity.

The first famous five are TOWIE stars Gemma Collins and James ‘Arg’ Argent, with Carol Vorderman, comic Ellie Taylor and presenter Rick Edwards.

The self-appointed team leader Gemma (everyone wanted Carol but no one dared argue with ‘The GC’) gives Rick the first mystery challenge in the new Eastern Zone.

Celebrity Crystal Maze contestants — How will Carol, Rick, Gemma, Arg and Ellie fare in the dome?

The celebs can also choose to ‘mega-size’ a crystal and gain an extra 10 seconds in the dome.

Gemma is a unique leader: think Rottweiler with a toothache, but she certainly makes herself heard!
