Since Children in Need began in 1980 and what with almost every band from the decade reuniting, it must have been a no-brainer for the BBC to decide the theme of this concert.
So if you Sometimes love singing Karma Chameleon at the karaoke on a Saturday night, after imbibing a few glasses of Red Red Wine, then tune in, as Erasure, Boy George and (some of) UB40 take to the stage at the SSE Arena, Wembley, alongside such big hitters as A-ha, OMD, Jason Donovan, Mica Paris and Bananarama, who don’t seem to have changed much since their heyday.
Appropriately, DJ Roman Kemp (son of Spandau Ballet’s Martin) will be backstage to catch up with some of his dad’s old musical buddies.
