If you went crazy for last year’s anarchic and fantastic Peter Pan Goes Wrong, then we’ve got good news – the gang’s back again this year, subjecting Charles Dickens to death by a thousand missed cues and pratfalls.
Article continues belowThe formula remains the same – a much loved classic is supposedly being given a makeover by a bunch of incompetents, namely the ‘Cornley Polytechnic Drama Society’, who probably shouldn’t be allowed out alone.
If last year’s show is anything to go by – previews weren’t available at the time of going to press – it’s bound to be another winner.
And the calibre of guests – Sir Derek Jacobi and Dame Diana Rigg – is highly promising, too.
