Putting aside their personal dramas, the teens head off for Schoolies Week. With Zeke on a mission to forget Sunny, and Donna and Ringo re-connecting, Kate and Declan find themselves pushed together. However, when Kate undergoes a Donna-inspired makeover, Declan seems disinterested, leaving Kate confused. Assuming he thinks she looks cheap, Kate doesn't realise that she looks absolutely gorgeous, and draws the attention of a group of older guys. Seeing Kate out of her depth and being treated inappropriately, Declan shuts down the party, kicking everyone out. Kate has a go at Declan for trying to rule her life, and asks him why he cares so much? Can Declan deny his growing feelings for Kate? Fearing Dan's continued presence will exacerbate Susan's MS symptoms, Karl is reluctant to encourage Libby to seek couple's counselling. Eventually explaining his concern, Karl asks Libby and Dan to go away and sort out their differences so Susan can have a break. Unwilling to leave her mother when she is seriously unwell, Libby is torn between looking after her mother and saving her marriage. Susan eventually puts her foot down. Will she tell Libby to leave?
