Doctors spoilers: Romance for Becky Clarke and cleaner Enzo D'Agostino?

Doctors, Becky Clarke

The new surgery cleaner Enzo has made quite an impression on practice manager Becky. Will she be taken in by his charms?

It's been a few weeks since practice manager Becky Clarke broke up with her boyfriend Tam Campbell. But very soon, it could be a case of Tam, who?

Yes, Becky seems to have taken quite a fancy to Enzo D'Agostino, the new cleaner at The Mill. He's certainly got the swagger and the banter. And Becky's female colleagues all seem to be having their own Diet Coke moment (remember those TV ads?) whenever Enzo is around.

Will Becky continue to fall for his charms and could it lead to romance?

Meanwhile, nurse Ayesha Lee is excited to start her training to become qualified to prescribe medication to patients. However, will she find herself clashing with colleague Sid Vere again when the doc says he doesn't think nurses should be allowed to prescribe.

Elsewhere in Letherbridge, Valerie Pitman suspects an ageing rock drummer, Brian 'Sticky' Burns of inappropriate behaviour with his female carer, Geraldine Kirk.

Valerie is determined to help, even though colleague Emma Reid warns her no action can be taken unless Geraldine comes forward with a complaint.

Can Valerie find a way to prove Sticky is up to no good?

Doctors continues weekdays at 1:45pm on BBC One

Simon has long been a fan of soap operas, and especially loves OVER-THE-TOP plots involving evil twins, hair-pulling catfights and natural disasters. Anyone remember the Sunset Beach earthquake/tidal wave? Or when Krystle Carrington got locked in the attic and replaced by look-a-like Rita in Dynasty?!

Simon has written for a variety of TV and childrens’ magazines/websites including Inside Soap, Nickelodeon, What’s On TV, Radio Times, Metro, Girl Talk, Disney Girl, Toxic! and Digital Spy. He has reported LIVE from the red carpet at The British Soap Awards interviewing glammed-up stars from soapland, and hosted a Facebook LIVE session for Metro with Home and Away legend Ray Meagher (Alf "Stone the flamin' crows!" Stewart) to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Aussie soap.

Simon is also co-author of The Treasures Of Coronation Street (Carlton Books)

And the writer and director of (very!) low budget fright flick, Midsummer Night's EVIL and the sequel webisodes series, The Hatchet Woods HORROR.
