Sid Vere and Imogen Hollins' romance is slowly hotting up on Doctors. But everything is thrown into jeopardy after Sid makes a SHOCK discovery...

So, it looks like Karen Hollins (played by Jan Pearson) was right after all on Doctors (1:45pm on BBC One, see our TV Guide (opens in new tab) for full listings). Her daughter Imogen (Charlie Clemmow) and Dr Sid Vere (Ashley Rice) are getting on brilliantly... and are definitely a bit loved-up!

However, everything's turned upside down when an intimate encounter between the two of them leads Sid to make a SHOCK discovery. But what?

Doctors, Imogen Hollins

Imogen Hollins is left afraid for the future after her doctor boyfriend Sid Vere makes an alarming discovery on Doctors...

Meanwhile, having vowed to move on after the break-up of her marriage, Zara Carmichael (Elisabeth Dermot Walsh) decides to sign-up to a dating agency, Prime Partners.

Datings apps have so far not introduced Zara to the man of her dreams, so the GP is hoping she'll have better luck with the more personal, tailored services of Prime Partners.

But things take an unexpected and intimate twist, when a potential suitor Nick sends Zara an unsolicited photo of his private parts... leading to the discovery he has a sexually transmitted infection!

Should Zara let Nick know about the discovery or leave him to find out for himself?

Elsewhere in Letherbridge, surgery receptionist Valerie Pitman (Sarah Moyle) befriends a lonely farmer, Terry Beauregard (Gary Lilburn), who confides in her about the death of his wife.

Doctors, Valerie Pitman, Terry Beauregard

Valerie befriends grieving farmer Terry, unaware he has taken a shine to her and is on the lookout for a new wife on Doctors!

However, is Terry now on the lookout for a NEW wife?

After inviting Valerie to his home, and somehow managing to get her involved in doing chores around the place, Terry puts on a suit, smothers himself in cheap aftershave and asks Valerie to be his new wife!

What will she do?

Doctors continues weekdays at 1:45pm on BBC One
