EastEnders’ Max Branning is wondering what Bobby Beale was thinking when he asked him about his feelings for the murdered Lucy Beale. He confronts Bobby about his questions and opens up a whole can of worms that leaves Bobby upset and shaken.

The incident prompts Max to open up to Bobby about what happened between them. When Callum Highway later finds Bobby looking upset, he goes over to him and offers Bobby some advice.

Mick Carter is struggling to breathe following his collapse but he manages to call out to Stuart Highway, who has just left the room. Stuart returns to find Mick in a bad way and he’s horrified. He quickly calls for an ambulance but will everything be okay? Meanwhile, Mick’s wife Linda Carter knows nothing about the collapse and she’s concerned when she realises he’s missing.

Denise Fox’s irritation at having Patrick’s other half Sheree around continues. After Sheree suggests entering a hairdressing competition, Denise is annoyed. When Gray Atkins turns up at the salon, Lola Pearce suggests he encourage his wife Chantelle Atkins to enter the competition. Lola and Chantelle are delighted when Gray thinks it’s a great idea.
