Jessie's ex Al pushes Marlon's buttons, making fresh trouble for the rocky Dingle marriage

Emmerdale's Jessie's (Sandra Marvin) taken aback when her ex, Al (Michael Wildman), reveals he's got her a phone interview for the teaching post in Dubai.

Later, when scheming Al runs into Marlon (Mark Charnock) he soon realises his ex's new hubby hasn't got a clue about the job. Keen to make trouble, he 'accidentally' lets slip that currently unemployed Jessie's considering a job abroad!

With Marlon already feeling on the outer with Jessie, who recently resigned without even mentioning it to him beforehand, the chef is stung. As he arrives home to talk to his wife, he finds her on the blower, mid-interview, and is furious.

At Butler's Cain (Jeff Hordley) is away in Scotland helping Debbie (Charley Webb) start up the garage she was left by Lisa in her will. With that 'cat' away, secret lovers Moira (Natalie J Robb) and Nate (Jurell Carter) are up to no good in the house when Paddy (Dominic Brunt) and Bear (Joshua Richards) arrive! Will they get sprung?

Elsewhere, Charity (Emma Atkins) continues her campaign to rid the village of its weed smokers as she's worried the problem could affect her pub. Secret toker Doug (Duncan Preston), who's taken to smoking cannabis to help his back pain, cringes as Pollard (Chris Chittell) joins forces with Charity to sort the issue.

At the Sharmas, Priya (Fiona Wade), Jai (Chris Bisson) and Manpreet (Rebecca Sarker) learn about Rishi's (Bhasker Patel) plan to rebuild the family empire from scratch.
