Bob's got big plans for the Woolpack which leave Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) and resident chef Marlon (Mark Charnock) bemused. Wanting to boost the takings, Bob (Tony Audenshaw) reckons they should host a stripper night! Will he get the go-ahead from Chas and Charity? Do they think that his very saucy idea could boost trade at the Woolie?
At the vets', Paddy Kirk throws himself into work and insists on treating a client's poorly cat. But when the vet finishes the surgery and is assessing the puss' progress, Paddy (Dominic Brunt) finds it's died. The cat's demise touches a nerve in Paddy, who's grieving over the very recent death of his newborn daughter Grace.
Paddy's found in floods by concerned colleague Rhona Goskirk (Zoe Henry).
Jessie Grant's (Sandra Marvin) been hurt by her son Ellis' angry outburst about his banged-up brother Billy. Stepping in to try to broker peace, Marlon tells Ellis (Asan N'Jie) he should apologise to his mum.
