Michel Roux Jr may run a swanky double-Michelin-starred restaurant in Mayfair, but he's intrigued by the recent wave of maverick chefs opening exciting eateries in bizarre, unexpected locations all over the UK.

In this four-part series, Michel has a break from the world of fine dining to open his own pop-up, and travels the country in search of inspiration for its menu.
