Dr Dominic Copeland hasn't been feeling himself since being diagnosed with the highly contagious Hepatitis C, after coming into contact with an infected patient. And, this week, when his kind-hearted boyfriend, nurse Ben 'Lofty' Chiltern, plans a cosy Mexican night in, Dom's not in the mood.
Lofty tells Dom to go home and relax – but it's anything but a restful night for him when he bumps into Shannon, who's impaled her leg on some railings trying to break into a car pound. He knows he needs to call an ambulance – but he's got no phone and Shannon's phone is the other side of the railings!
As he scales the fence to retrieve it, however, he cuts his hands on some barbed wire. As they wait for help to arrive, Shannon continues to bleed out, so she begs Dom to stop the bleeding with his bare hands…
Later, as Shannon confides in him about an unrequited love, will Dom realise just how lucky he is to have Lofty in his life?
Also, Roman turns up at Frieda's flat with an injured friend and needing help. And Sacha finds a new friend in the most unlikeliest of places.
