Ric Griffin's stunned to see his ex-wife on AAU – but it seems they've already been reunited…
It's the morning after the night before in Holby City and Ric Griffin arrives at work with a cut above his eye. The consultant claims he "fell" – but there are hints about how he may have sustained his injury when a familiar face returns to Holby.
Ric gets a shock when he meets the new locum on AAU… it's Lola Williams better known to Holby fans as Lola Griffin, Ric's ex-wife! Serena's intrigued when Lola – last seen in the medical drama 10 years ago – reveals the pair go way back but she's stunned to learn they were previously married… twice!
He claims he hasn't seen Lola (Sharon D Clarke) in a while, but when Serena presses Ric, he’s forced to reveal the truth… that they spent the previous night together!
It seems their liaison has prompted himto question whether Lola sees the reunion as just a fling or something more….
When Ric asks Lola if she sees a future for them, she gives him the brush-off. She can sense Ric's stuck in a 'middle-aged' rut but reassures him he's still a catch… if last night was anything to go by!
Elsewhere, Dominic tries to win over brilliant new consultant Ange... but fails. And Cameron struggles to impress ice-queen Jac Naylor.
