Cleo McQueen and Mitchell Deveraux are just about to share their first kiss when they are rudely interrupted!

Flirtatious sparks have already been flying between Cleo McQueen (Nadine Rose Mulkerrin) and Mitchell Deveraux (Imran Adams) and tonight they grow even closer.

Mitchell previously asked Cleo back to his house and offered to help her make the wedding favours in preparation for Mercedes and Myra’s double wedding.

As the pair of them set to work the chemistry between them is sizzling and they’re just about to lean in for a kiss when Mitchell’s grandfather, Walter suddenly arrives home.

Walter Deveraux

Walter disapproves of the McQueens

Having already taken a dislike to the McQueen family and with a feud between him and them brewing, he makes his displeasure at seeing Cleo and Mitchell together very clear! Oh dear, is this romance going to be knocked on the head before it’s even had a chance to properly get going?

Meanwhile Mercedes McQueen (Jennifer Metcalfe) is sick and tired of Myra’s insistence that they have a big extravagant wedding and pull out all the stops. Mercedes wants it to be a small, understated affair but will she be able to bring Myra (Nicole Barber-Lane) into line or is there no hope?

With the wedding day looming the pair need to be on the same page before it’s too late!

Hollyoaks is shown weekdays on C4 at 6.30pm with the next episode following on E4
