Hollyoaks spoilers: James Nightingale dead? Has killer Breda struck again?

James Nightingale collapses on a bench after drinking a cup of coffee. Has killer Breda poisoned him and is this the end of James?

Breda McQueen (Moya Brady) has been ordered by Mac to bump off his son, James Nightingale, otherwise he will expose her murderous past as a serial killer.

With Mac’s deadline looming and the day of his court case now here, Breda swings into action.

She shows Mac her murder weapon of choice, a vial of poison. Mac seems happy and tells her that once she’s completed her task and killed James she must send him a picture as proof.

Is Breda McQueen prepared to kill again to save her skin?

Breda sets off and manages to put the poison in James’s coffee however there’s a set back when Juliet accidentally spills the hot drink over his suit.

A panicked Breda decides she needs to get into James’s flat in order to administer more poison. She manages to let herself in but James is shocked when he walks in and sees her there. Breda makes an excuse and tells him she saw the coffee spillage incident and thought she’d come and help him clean himself up.

When she is left alone for a few seconds she slyly manages to slip more poison into his cup.

Later on James is outside and listening to a voicemail from his boyfriend Harry (Parry Glasspool) who is confessing his love, when he suddenly slumps over and collapses on a park bench.

Marnie is horrified to see her son slumped on a bench while his boyfriend Harry rings for help

Marnie and Harry are horrified to see James's lifeless body. Has Breda succeeded in poisoning him and is this the end of James?

Meanwhile Cleo McQueen (Nadine Rose Mulkerrin) realises she’s forgotten to organise the wedding favours for the double McQueen wedding. She quickly rushes out to Price Slice to buy some party poppers.

When Martine Deveraux (Kelle Bryan) spots her she tells her son Mitchell, who she knows is secretly smitten with Cleo, to go and speak to her.

There is sizzling chemistry between Cleo McQueen and Mitchell Deveraux

Mitchell (Imran Adams)  turns up and the pair are soon flirting as he Cleo gets busy sorting the wedding favours into bags.

Mitchell offers to help her and invites Cleo to his house. Will she say yes?
