Hollyoaks spoilers: Prisoner Tony Hutchinson makes a frantic bid to escape killer Breda
Tony Hutchinson desperately scrabbles to escape the cage that serial-killer Breda has locked him in when he sees an opportunity. Will he break free?
Having been locked in a cage in Hollyoaks, Tony Hutchinson (Nick Pickard) wakes from a nightmare and realises he’s still being kept prisoner by serial killer Breda McQueen (Moya Brady) at her remote pig farm. Will he ever be able to make his escape or is he going to go the same way as Breda’s more recent victims, Louis Loveday and Tony’s own son, Harry Thompson?
Tony is certain that the childminder turned killer has been drugging him to keep him weak and tells religious fanatic Breda that her plan to help children and rid the village of 'bad dads' is flawed and she’s going to burn in hell.
A rattled Breda storms out but in her haste, leaves her sewing kit behind. Seizing the opportunity and with Breda gone, Tony races to use one of her sewing needles to try and pick the lock on his cage but will he be successful? And can he stagger to freedom?
Meanwhile, with Tony still AWOL and his wife Diane (Alex Fletcher) convinced that her hubby has left her for a mystery woman called Alice, Tony's restaurant that he co-owns, is going rapidly downhill.
Struggling to keep things afloat and badly understaffed, his business partner, Darren Osborne (Ashley Taylor Dawson) reluctantly lets Luke Morgan (Gary Lucy) help out in the kitchen.
However there’s much hilarity when the pair both end up topless due to a kitchen mishap. One person who isn’t complaining is Cindy Cunningham (Stephanie Waring) who walks in to see both men naked from the waist up and likes what she sees!
Elsewhere, Scott Drinkwell (Ross Adams), dressed as his drag alter-ego, Anita Tinkle, tells Mitchell Deveraux (Imran Adams) that he needs to stop blaming his behaviour on being drunk.
Mitchell who has been wrestling with his feelings for Scott and recently kissed him, admits to Scott that he DOES want to be with him but it’s not that easy and he doesn't want to hurt his girlfriend Cleo McQueen (Nadine Mulkerrin).
An exasperated Scott tells Mitchell he won’t be second best and Mitchell needs to face up to the situation and choose who he really wants to be with; Cleo or him. Who will Mitchell choose?
Plus Jesse Donovan (Luke Jerdy) comes to a big decision after confiding in Darren that he feels threatened by his big brother Liam (Jude Monk McGowan).
Hollyoaks is shown weekdays on C4 at 6.30pm with the next episode following on E4
