When Diane Hutchinson inherits all of evil Edward's money she comes to a BIG decision
Diane, who became Edward’s partner, was left with all of his fortune but tonight she tells her husband Tony (Nick Pickard) and his sister Verity (Eva O’Hara) that she doesn’t want surgeon Edward’s money and insists the two of them should have it.
Tony is adamant he doesn’t want any of his evil father’s loot either and says it should all go to ‘expectant parents’, Verity and her fiancé, Sami Malik (Rishi Nair).
Tony still has no idea Verity has lied about being pregnant after covering for Tony’s own wife, Diane who is in fact the one expecting a baby!
The deception sprung up when Tony found a discarded positive pregnancy testing kit and assumed it was Verity’s.
Verity smiles through her unease as an excited Sami suggests they should use the money to buy a house together.
Later on, Sami breaks the news to his doctor mum, Misbah (Harvey Virdi) that he’s going to be a dad.
However Misbah is concerned when she later sees lawyer Verity knocking back a glass of wine.
Strange behaviour for someone who’s pregnant! Will Misbah question what’s going on?
Elsewhere, Darren Osborne (Ashley Taylor Dawson) defends his decision to help his ex, Nancy Osborne (Jessica Fox) and promises his jealous partner Mandy (Sarah Jayne Dunn) that he’ll make things right for the two of them.
Meanwhile, Trish Minniver (Denise Welch) finds Grace Black (Tamara Wall) and Nancy arguing in the village and invites them both for a drink with her and her daughter Maxine (Nikki Sanderson).
However things get awkward when drunk Nancy’s emotions get the better of her when Darren turns up to take her home.
Is Nancy about to make a move on Darren?
Plus, Luke Morgan (Gary Lucy) thinks it’s time that his ex, Mandy comes clean about daughter Ella (Erin Palmer) who was the real one responsible for Jordan Price’s murder.
With Charlie Dean (Charlie Behan) currently in prison for the murder he didn’t commit, can Mandy bear to reveal the truth and expose her beloved daughter as the real killer?
Plus Celeste Faroe (Andrea Ali) accepts her mum Martine’s (Kelle Bryan) offer to move into the Deveraux family home.
