Events take a sinister turn for Jack Osborne when Eva creeps in with a gun and watches him while he sleeps...

Eva breaks into the Osbornes and watches Jack sleeping on the sofa, armed with a gun. Afterwards Liam finds Eva upset in The Folly and is intrigued by her. When he then sees her again at The Bean, he invites her to The Loft but, while she’s not impressed with him, he’s completely smitten with her. Later, Esther reports the break in to the police and is introduced to DI Eva Falco…

Meanwhile, as Celine urges Cleo to tell Nathan how she feels, Marnie offers Lisa money to stay away from her son. Lisa doesn’t want to just be someone’s fling, so Nathan suggests they move in together, leaving Cleo heartbroken. But it seems Nathan secretly wants to be with Cleo too.

Cindy wants a new job so she can afford one of the new luxury flats that are being built, so she’s delighted when Marnie offers her a role at Nightingale’s. Cindy turns up looking every inch the businesswoman – but her bubble bursts when Marnie reveals she’s the new pot washer, while Nick is hired as the maitre’d…

Also, Freddie’s hopeful when Ellie needs help with her car but she’s not letting him worm his way back into her affections. Freddie plans a Romeo and Juliet surprise at the garage and Ellie’s suitably impressed… that is until Mercedes spills the beans about Freddie supposedly sleeping with Joanne!
