A tipsy Karen is out to impress her snobby neighbour Pamela Hitchcock who she has invited to the Christmas party along with her daughter Susie. But the party is cut short when a lot of the guests including Pamela start to throw up - could it be food poisoning? Finally Pamela feels well enough to return home. As Karen retrieves her coat they stumble upon Jack and Susie in the spare bedroom together and Karen's humiliation is complete! Lily tells Julia that she and Heston have the social worker coming tomorrow and Zara and Daniel end up in bed together after going out for a meal.
