*Hour Long Episode* Kirsty's irked when she notices Tyrone watching Tommy return home on crutches. Tina finds herself close to accepting Rita's advice to ignore Kirsty, but when Jason arrives with the news that he's had to accept Julie's offer on the flat, Tina leaves in a rage. Later Tommy's surprised when Tyrone turns up eager to end all acrimony. As they shake hands however Tina has finally tracked Kirsty down. She flies at her all guns blazing as Kirsty's waters break. The baby's on its way. When Tyrone arrives at the pub, having made up with Tommy, Tina offers her help to Kirsty but she screams she wants her nowhere near her baby. Tyrone wonders why. Outside Rita has a go at Tina as her actions have put an unborn baby at risk. Eventually Marcus manages to deliver the baby as the paramedics arrive and Gloria reveals to Tyrone that Tina attacked Kirsty. Tyrone sees red as Tina finds herself under attack from all quarters. Michelle's temper is tested when Tracy and Ryan turn up at the flat, thwarting her plans for a romantic meal with Steve as Tracy openly canoodles with Ryan. After the pair leave Michelle reveals she doesn't know how long she can keep this up. Their only hope is Deirdre who's back home tomorrow. Cilla invites Chesney and Katy over to South Africa for Christmas. However Izzy reminds Katy that by then she might be in the early stages of pregnancy. It could be dangerous to fly. Katy's not sure how to tell Chesney the news that their trip won't be happening. Later, Chesney's irritated when Izzy and Gary gatecrash his plans for a quiet night in. Also, Jason drops the hint to Maria about moving in with her, but she lets him down gently; Gloria irritates Stella; Dev mocks Karl.

An entertainment writer with a diverse taste in TV and film, he lists Seinfeld, The Sopranos, The Chase, The Thick of It and Detectorists among his favourite shows, but steers well clear of most sci-fi.
