Declan impresses Miranda with his dedication to his job, but that doesn't help him get over the sting of Ringo's bad behaviour. And although Ringo carried on the party, he knew he was out of line. Trying to make amends, Ringo offers Declan a ride in his borrowed car, but Declan has had enough and turns down the invitation. Bridget mistakenly thinks Declan's resulting anger might be jealousy and she organises a truce. Alienated by the friends he previously rejected, Ringo seeks solace in football groupie Ashley. She persuades Ringo to take her home, but things go from bad to worse for unlucky Ringo when he comes face to face with Ashley's disapproving dad: team coach Nathan. Coach Nathan blows his top, threatening Ringo's football career if he goes near his daughter again. Libby comes home from hospital but she and Dan agree to keep the news of the miscarriage from Ben until the right moment. Toadie and Steph fear that this is a sign that they aren't coping with their loss. They're proved right when the unhappy couple throw themselves into new sporting projects with Dan training Toadie up to join the Dingoes and Libby starting a new netball team.
