Roo is struggling to settle in to life at the caravan park. After several failed attempts at doing her washing, she realises it's time to move on from there. She has a successful meeting with John about doing some work on the surf carnival, and then turns her attentions on Angelo. Angelo is suspicious of Roo's motives after she rejected him. She approaches him again about being his housemate and he is dismissive. But she later comes to him with a business proposition and he listens to her pitch. The pair chat and Angelo tells her she can move in. But it's only going to be platonic - he reckons they're better off just as mates anyway. April is still stressed out about her schoolwork and isn't happy with the assignment she's handing in. She pleads with Bianca to let her stay at her place for the day and finish her project, but Bianca won't hear of it and sends April to school. April's classmate Jase sees her lining up her pens on her desk and teases her. April freaks out and Liam is worried about her, but it's not until later that Bianca and Liam realise the extent of April's problems.
