Terese discovers that Paul is making his new motel a cheap rip-off of Lassiters, so she temporarily lowers room rates at Lassiters. Not to be outdone, Paul resorts to more dirty tactics, resulting in Paul and Terese being locked together in a dark and steamy storeroom.

Sonya's beating herself up about her first speech as mayor - her meltdown has spawned many memes on social media, mocking her inability to keep her cool. But encouraged by her family, Sonya hires an assistant who will help guide her through any future political storms.
