Comedians and comic actors settle down on their sofas to watch Christmas specials of yesteryear, in the first of a new series (there’s more to come in January).

It’s all obviously a bit Gogglebox-y as we eavesdrop on the likes of Miranda’s Sally Phillips and Sarah Hadland, or The Royle Family’s Ricky Tomlinson and Ralf Little – and things get really weird when they start watching themselves.

But you could heat a room with the affection stars like Sarah Solemani and Russell Tovey, or Robert Llewellyn and Craig Charles have for each other.

And it helps that they’re watching real yuletide classics – roll on ’Allo ’Allo, Eric and Ernie, Mr Bean, The Fast Show and tons more. Sheer joy.
