Come and Find Me | Danger and deception for Aaron Paul when girlfriend Annabelle Wallis goes missing

Come and Find Me DVD

The lady vanishes.

Aaron Paul’s LA graphic designer David is sent for a loop after his photographer girlfriend Claire (Peaky Blinders’ Annabelle Wallis) suddenly goes missing. A year later, still hunting for Claire, he finds that all manner of thugs and spooks are looking for her too. Did he ever really know his enigmatic ex at all?

Written and directed by Zach Whedon (younger brother of Buffy creator Joss), mystery thriller Come and Find Me has its share of suspenseful scenes, but countless flashback scenes – which cast the couple’s idyllic past relationship in a different light - slow the film’s momentum and stop us buying its many far-fetched twists.

Certificate 15. Runtime 112 mins. Director Zach Whedon

Come and Find Me available on Digital Download, and on Blu-ray & DVD from 21 August.

Jason Best

A film critic for over 25 years, Jason admits the job can occasionally be glamorous – sitting on a film festival jury in Portugal; hanging out with Baz Luhrmann at the Chateau Marmont; chatting with Sigourney Weaver about The Archers – but he mostly spends his time in darkened rooms watching films. He’s also written theatre and opera reviews, two guide books on Rome, and competed in a race for Yachting World, whose great wheeze it was to send a seasick film critic to write about his time on the ocean waves. But Jason is happiest on dry land with a classic screwball comedy or Hitchcock thriller.
