Neighbours turns Cockney as they film a tribute to EastEnders (VIDEO)

The Neighbours cast has paid tribute to EastEnders on its 30th anniversary by filming a special homage to the BBC soap.

EastEnders celebrates its 30th anniversary with a live episode tomorrow, while Neighbours turns 30 next month.

Rather than just a happy birthday message, the Neighbours filmed a special sketch to honour EastEnders auspicious milestone, showcasing some impressive (and not so impressive) Cockney accents.

The sketch, EastErinsborough, stars Ramsay Street’s much-loved matriarch Susan Kennedy played by Jackie Woodburne. Neighbours fans will remember the classic Susan moment in 2002 when she slipped on spilt milk and lost her memory. In 2015, Susan finds herself in the same situation but this time wakes up in the middle of an EastEnders episode featuring her husband and other neighbours playing characters from the hit BBC One soap.
