Charlie Cox to star in Marvel's Daredevil

Young British actor Charlie Cox leads the cast of new American superhero series, Marvel's Daredevil, based on the comic book character.

Recently seen in the Stephen Hawking biopic, The Theory of Everything, Charlie also starred in last year's BBC2 spy drama Legacy.

In Marvel's Daredevil, Charlie plays lawyer Matt Murdock, who was blinded as a young boy but has developed extraordinary other senses.

By day he fights against injustice in the courts but by night he battles crime on the streets of New York.

The 13-part series starts on April 10 on the Netflix streaming service.
