Children in Need 2017 - EastEnders sing West End hits to Strictly Blue Peter... our guide to this year's charity appeal
What’s on TV’s top telly picks for this year’s Children in Need TV extravaganza
With an action-packed line-up of TV specials and star-studded sketches on offer hopefully donations will roll in for Children in Need 2017 making it the most successful since the charity’s first TV appeal in 1955!
Last year Children in Need raised an eye wateringly impressive £46.6 million in a single night to help disadvantaged children in the UK. Can this year’s special charity night match last year’s phenomenal fundraiser?
Celebrity hosts including Mel Giedroyc, Graham Norton, Ade Adepitan, Rochelle Humes and charity mascot Pudsey the bear, certainly hope so as they keep the charity party going on BBC1 on Friday 17th November.
Here are the main Children in Need TV specials to look out for including EastEnders singing West End hits
Strictly Blue Peter
Popular Blue Peter presenters from the past 60 years swap Blue Peter badges for a bit of ballroom blitz! Mark Curry, Diane-Louise Jordan, Anthea Turner, Tim Vincent, Konnie Huq and Radzi Chinyanganya are put through their paces when they join forces with Strictly’s professional dancers in a bid to win the Pudsey Glitterball Trophy. Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman present.
