Fans have speculated as to whether Gemma is living on the streets after events take an unfortunate turn...
Scenes have emerged of Coronation Street character Gemma Winter, played by Dolly-Rose Campbell, looking emotional, surrounded by shopping bags.
Gemma is pictured slumped on the ground, with viewers speculating that latest events have left her homeless after a row with boyfriend Chesney Brown (played by Sam Aston).
'What has Gemma done?' asked one twitter user.
While another speculated, 'Gemma Winter homeless after Chesney Brown kicks her out in #Corrie?'
Chesney tries to help out the character, but rather than accepting his support, she lashes out at him. Could this be the end of their budding romance?
It was recently revealed that Gemma will discover she's pregnant with quadruplets in an upcoming storyline - so could this be the reason she's in such a bad way?
After Gemma joined the soap in 2014 she soon won fans over her down-to-earth attitude and hilarious transition from Kylie’s rough-and-ready friend to much-loved local barmaid at the Rovers.
While things aren't looking great for Gemma and Chesney, the latest scenes suggest that neither will become victims of next week's underworld roof collapse.
The soap has teased that 'no one in safe' from the drama next week, and it's thought that a main Coronation Street character will be killed off in the brutal upcoming episode. The shocking events will also set the scene for a new villain in Weatherfield, who will be revealed to be the culprit of the collapse.
Actress Dolly-Rose Campbell was actually a massive fan of Coronation Street before she even got the part.
“I have always been a massive fan of Coronation Street", she told iN10.
"I’d had an audition before the tour and I wasn’t expecting anything, but then just a couple of days later I got the call saying I had got the part.”
Coronation Street airs the Underworld roof collapse on Monday, March 18 at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.
