Strictly Come Dancing 2020 was a cracker

Strictly Come Dancing 2020 was great fun despite all the problems caused by the pandemic.

Like all our favourite reality TV shows at the moment, including I'm a Celebrity 2020 and Dancing On Ice 2021, Strictly Come Dancing 2020 looked a little different to previous years. Hopefully Strictly Come Dancing 2021 will have less issues to deal with.

Shirley Ballas

As head judge, Shirley has been offering our celebrity contestants her professional opinion...

Due to the pandemic Strictly Come Dancing 2020 started later than usual this year, and fans will already know that Halloween Week was cancelled while Blackpool Week was recreated in the London studios instead of the famous Blackpool Tower Ballroom.

When was Strictly Come Dancing 2020 on?

Strictly live shows were aired on Saturdays at 7.25 on BBC One, while the results shows were on Sunday evenings at 7.15, also on BBC One.

The Strictly judges

While Craig Revel Horwood, Shirley Ballas and Motsi Mabuse have all returned to the Strictly judges panel, however Bruno Tonioli has been joining the judges on the results show via video from LA.

In usual years, Bruno has flown back and forth between the UK and the US every week, but current travel restrictions have made that impossible.
