The top 10 remaining contestants had to do ballroom battle for a spot under the bright lights of Blackpool next week and the celebrity who emerged victorious - again - was Pixie Lott, who scored 36/40, getting a 10 from Darcey Bussell - the second time Pixie has topped the leaderboard.
Pixie danced a “refreshingly original foxtrot,” with pro partner Trent Whiddon that was “original, with charm and wit,” said Bruno Tonioli.
“You ate up that dance floor. I was so impressed,” added Darcey Bussell.
Craig Revel Horwood had just one word: “Gorgeous”
Unfortunately for Frankie Bridge, that’s not the word Craig had for her samba with Kevin Clifton.
“It’s your worst dance yet,” Craig told Frankie - and she couldn’t help crying a little over that.
But Frankie did admit: “I made loads of mistakes.”
And for all that, she still scored 32/40…
Simon Webbe was the only celebrity between Frankie and top scorer Pixie.
Simon scored 33/40 for a quickstep with Kristina Rihanoff that saw him race around the dance floor. And Craig was impressed…
“You flew around that floor with absolute ease. You are fast becoming a serious contender,” Craig told Simon.
“The quickstep isn’t simple, Simon,” added Len Goodman. “I loved the energy and commitment.”
It was another disappointing week for Jake Wood, whose scores have been dropping. Last week it was 29/40 for his Paso Doble, this week he scored 27/40 for his rumba with Janette Manrara.
“You were a little bit all at sea with your hands,” Len told Jake. “It was acceptable but not exceptional.”
By far the worst dancer of the night was, unsurprisingly, Judy Murray, who attempted a Paso Doble with Anton Du Beke that scored just 18/40.
Judy was joined at dance practice by son Andy and told him: “The Paso is a bit fast for me.”
“Most of it’s a bit fast for you!” Andy told her.
Then showed he has inherited his mother’s lack of dancing skills as well as her love of tennis when he danced a bit with her.
“You went from centre court to criminal court,” Len told Judy. “If stiffness was a crime, you’d get life.”
“You just walked your way through the whole thing. It would have been nice to see a bit of dance,” added Craig.
“We were happy with walking,” Anton answered.
