Watch a video that illustrates how the BBC's online catch-up media player, the iPlayer, has been relaunched with a range of new features. Now the iPlayer combines on-demand radio with its hugely popular TV service, plus other enhancements such as better sound quality, easier navigation and a 'last played' feature that lets you automatically pick up where you stopped watching a programme. Other additions include combined TV and radio categories such as comedy and drama, a larger playback screen to watch TV programmes and a TV schedule that allows users to plan their viewing over the coming days. The BBC iPlayer has been a phenomenal success since it launched six months ago - there have been more than 100 million requests to view clips, with 21.8 million in May alone.
