There is no swashbuckling romance to be had here, just the story of an ill-fated couple aboard an equally ill-fated vessel. Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet play characters whose love for each other is denied for the usual reasons (social class differences) in a unique setting that might leave you feeling seasick.
Undoubtedly a classic, this film will pull all of your heartstrings while making you question ever boarding a boat again. Complete with a villainous performance from Billy Zane, almost as icy as the Atlantic into which the RMS Titanic sinks. Be sure to grab a box of tissues and steer clear of icebergs.
