The Bay, 9 pm, ITV1, ITVX (box set)
As the atmospheric Morecambe-set crime drama makes a welcome return, Family Liaison Officer DS Jenn Townsend (Marsha Thomason) supports local family the Metcalfs when their house is burned down in what looks like an arson attack. It quickly becomes apparent that there is a lot of dysfunction within the traumatised household, and life for Jenn’s own blended family becomes even more challenging than usual when an unexpected house guest arrives. With money troubles, marital problems, a possible case of mistaken identity, juvenile delinquency and more, the red herrings are already washing up nicely in Morecambe Bay. ★★★★ IM
The Piano, 9 pm, Channel 4
The last stop on the search for Britain’s talented pianists is Birmingham New Street Station. It’s the UK’s busiest station outside London, but this doesn’t distract from the stunning sounds coming from the concourse’s piano, with a fresh take on Harry Styles and a bop-along Jerry Lewis hit among the performances for the consideration of host Claudia Winkleman and judges Lang Lang and Mika. As with previous episodes, it’s both a euphoric and emotional watch – a retiree’s trip down memory lane is a hankies-at-the-ready moment. We cannot wait to see how all the performers come together on the Royal Festival stage next time. ★★★★ NT
Django, from 9 pm, Sky Atlantic, NOW
This week, we see John Ellis (Nicholas Pinnock) and Django (Matthias Schoenaerts) head off on a quest to borrow an oil rig. They know the ‘black gold’ Sarah found on New Babylon land could save their people, but first they have to cross Elizabeth Thurman’s (Noomi Rapace) land. John has taken Django for protection, but is he a match for Elizabeth’s men and will John find out the truth about him? It’s not long before they come face to face with the enemy, and it becomes clear that John and Elizabeth share secrets of their own. ★★★★ NH
Sort Your Life Out with Stacey Solomon, 9 pm, BBC One, iPlayer (box set)
This week, Stacey and her team are visiting the Clarks in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire. Ron, Toyah and their three children moved from a much bigger house in America, but brought everything with them. There are shoes, shoes and more shoes, and laundry everywhere you look. Did we mention the shoes? Ron and Toyah work long hours and haven’t had time to get organised – over to you, Stacey and co! ★★★ JP
Best box set on TV tonight
Daisy Jones & The Six, Prime Video
Daisy and The Six frontman Billy Dunne (Sam Claflin), have a complex relationship with fame and drugs, as well as trying to resist their growing and undeniable connection to each other.
The book is told in a clever documentary style, switching back and forward in time with the band members (in the present) giving first-person accounts of their perspectives on the story of the band's rise and fall. Band members Graham (Will Harrison), Eddie (Josh Whitehouse), Karen (Suki Waterhouse) and Warren (Sebastian Chacon) discuss their time in the band and reveal what happened away from the ever-present cameras. The first three episodes are available now, and the rest of the season will drop on Fridays over the coming weeks.

Best film on TV tonight
Little Women, 6.15 pm, Film4, All4
It may have been filmed countless times before, but Greta Gerwig’s take on Louisa May Alcott’s classic is one for the ages. The actor-turned-director (whose highly anticipated Barbie is released in July) is helped enormously by a pitch-perfect cast portraying the rumbustious March sisters – Florence Pugh (Amy), Emma Watson (Meg), Eliza Scanlen (Beth) and, in the choicest role, Saoirse Ronan as feisty Jo. They’re joined by Laura Dern as their mother and Meryl Streep as their aunt in a version that zips along with warmth and empathy, humour and pathos. Gerwig has a lightness of touch with material that can appear maudlin and overly sentimental in lesser hands, and has created a film of pure charm. ★★★★★ NP
