Craig Tinker's OCD takes over when the police come calling at his flat, so he locks the door and refuses to come out.
After breaking the news to Bethany Platt that her abuser Neil Clifton is appealing against his conviction, special constable Craig is told he's broken the rules. With his OCD rituals increasing, the lad then gets a visit from the police because murder victim Andy Carver once lived in Craig's flat. But Craig can't cope and bolts the door…

Bethany is shaken, but Craig hasn't realised that he's overstepped his authority by telling her.
When his bosses learn what he's done, Craig is told to take a break from his special-constable duties. With his OCD getting worse, he then gets a visit from the police...
The cops have come to search the flat where Andy Carver lived before he was murdered. But Craig can't cope and locks himself inside.
