Will Bernice and Lawrence's wedding day end in heartbreak? (VIDEO)

As Bernice and Lawrence prepare to get hitched in Emmerdale, there's an impediment in the shape of Bernice' ex-boyfriend, Andy!

Bernice's best friend Kerry thinks she is making a terrible mistake marrying Home Farm businessman Lawrence, so she arranges for Andy to appear as a 'Butler In The Buff' at Bernice's hen party to show her what she's missing!

"There clearly is unresolved stuff between Andy and Bernice," teases Samantha Giles, who plays Bernice. "So we'll have to wait and see what happens!"

Meanwhile, Lawrence thinks he's the luckiest man in the world as he gets ready for his Big Day with bubbly Bernice, unaware she's about to fall back into Andy's arms.

"Lawrence adores Bernice," says John Bowe, who plays Lawrence. "I think she gives him some kind of stability. She makes him laugh and he loves her."

But as Bernice rekindles old passions with Andy, is Lawrence destined to be left standing at the altar?

Simon has long been a fan of soap operas, and especially loves OVER-THE-TOP plots involving evil twins, hair-pulling catfights and natural disasters. Anyone remember the Sunset Beach earthquake/tidal wave? Or when Krystle Carrington got locked in the attic and replaced by look-a-like Rita in Dynasty?!

Simon has written for a variety of TV and childrens’ magazines/websites including Inside Soap, Nickelodeon, What’s On TV, Radio Times, Metro, Girl Talk, Disney Girl, Toxic! and Digital Spy. He has reported LIVE from the red carpet at The British Soap Awards interviewing glammed-up stars from soapland, and hosted a Facebook LIVE session for Metro with Home and Away legend Ray Meagher (Alf "Stone the flamin' crows!" Stewart) to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Aussie soap.

Simon is also co-author of The Treasures Of Coronation Street (Carlton Books)

And the writer and director of (very!) low budget fright flick, Midsummer Night's EVIL and the sequel webisodes series, The Hatchet Woods HORROR.
