Ripley St Thomas Academy in Lancaster is one of Britain's top secondaries, but, like many schools, it is struggling to get pupils to love literature.
Javone – who has no educational training, only a genuine passion for reading – quickly realises that he has his work cut out, and enlists the help of presenter Helen Skelton to come up with some unconventional ideas to get teens to swap social media and television for books.
