Bear Sylvester arrives for his first day on the job as Business Manager on Doctors. But Karen Hollins gets the wrong idea and tries to turn him away!
So, the surgery has found its man in the shape of new Practice Manager, Bear Sylvester (played by Dex Lee) on Doctors (1:45pm on BBC One, see our TV Guide for full listings).
However, Bear's first day on the job doesn't get off to a very good start when surgery receptionist Karen Hollins (Jan Pearson) tries to turn him away thinking he's a patient!
Bear tries to explain who he is. But Karen's having none of it until she has fully verified him. Will Bear pass the test?
And how will Bear's new bosses Daniel Granger (Matthew Chambers) and Zara Carmichael (Elisabeth Dermot Walsh) react to the fact Bear wants to change his job title to Business Manager?
And Bear isn't the only one who has landed a new job.
After impressing Jimmi Clay (Adrian Lewis Morgan) with his organisational skills, Gareth Regan (Edward MacLiam) is offered a job as temporary bar manager of the Icon Bar!
