Dr Emma Reid meets Rachel Robson and her student son Edwin, when she brings him to the surgery after he hurts his ankle.
However, Rachel is worried about more than just Edwin's ankle, and confides in Emma she's afraid her son has got Huntington's disease, an inherited brain disorder, from his dad.
But as Emma begins to observe the over-protective way Rachel treats Edwin, the medic starts to wonder if there is another reason behind Rachel's fears for her son.
Meanwhile, surgery nurse Ayesha Lee is ready to get back in the dating game after breaking-up with her social worker boyfriend, Leo Tomas.
After deciding against using dating apps and looking a bit 'desperate', Ayesha decides to phone a former boyfriend! Will Ayesha get lucky?
And midwife Ruhma Carter is being particularly snappy at home. So her husband Heston tries to get to the bottom of what is bothering her and is alarmed when Ruhma reveals she thinks she's losing her hearing...
