It looks like romance is finally in the air for Emma Reid on Doctors when she bumps into Gareth Regan at the Icon... and he sort of asks her on a date!

So things have been getting rather interesting for Emma Reid (played by Dido Miles) at her Air bnb-style set-up on Doctors (1:45pm on BBC One, see our TV Guide for full listings) now that Adam Regan and his twin brother Gareth (both played by Edward MacLiam) have moved in.

Emma rather fancies Gareth, even though Adam is dating her work colleague and bestie Zara Carmichael (Elisabeth Dermot Walsh), which could make things a bit weird between 'em.

But Emma is most definitely single and ready to mingle! So when she and Gareth bump into each other at the Icon Bar, the pair start getting on rather well, despite the fact the food they ordered never turns up!

So how will Emma react when Gareth (sort of) asks her out on a date?

Meanwhile, it's true, things are not running as smoothly at the Icon as Jimmi Clay (Adrian Lewis Morgan) and business partner Al Haskey (Ian Midlane) would like.

Their current bar manager is proving hopeless and there just seems to be one disaster after another. Can Jimmi hold it together or is he about to... SNAP!

Back at the surgery, Daniel Granger (Matthew Chambers) and Zara thought they had found the right person for the Practice Manager job.

But they're in for a surprise when chosen candidate Rafe Harrington turns the job down!

So WHO should they offer the job to instead?

Also, surgery nurse Ayesha Lee (Laura Rollins) sees patient Ricky Banks (Cameron Percival) for an injury on the back of his leg.

What are this pair up to on Doctors?

But Ricky, who is wearing a neck brace, wants to find out more about compensation since he claims he was in a bus crash a couple of weeks ago. But are things as they appear?

Doctors continues weekdays at 1:45pm on BBC One
