After traces of arsenic are found in Sid's blood, policeman Rob brings Charlotte back in for questioning. Is she behind the attack?

Charlotte Hill may have been cleared of her husband Grant's murder and released from prison, but policeman Rob Hollins isn't completely convinced she's an innocent woman.

So after Dr Sid Vere collapses and is taken to hospital in a suspected case of poisoning, Rob and his colleague DCI Joyce Ordega bring Charlotte back in for questioning.

Information has reached them that Charlotte met up socially with Sid twice (as well as her attempt to 'friend' him on social media), so the police want to know if she is somehow connected with Sid's unfortunate poisoning? But, once again, Charlotte denies foul play. So what's going on?

At The Mill, everyone's alarmed about Sid's poisoning and Dr Zara Carmichael is furious with new practice manager Becky Clarke for failing to mention Sid's new patient was convicted murderer Charlotte!

But the question is: Will Sid survive after traces of arsenic are found in his blood...

Writer

Simon has long been a fan of soap operas, and especially loves OVER-THE-TOP plots involving evil twins, hair-pulling catfights and natural disasters. Anyone remember the Sunset Beach earthquake/tidal wave? Or when Krystle Carrington got locked in the attic and replaced by look-a-like Rita in Dynasty?!

Simon has written for a variety of TV and childrens’ magazines/websites including Inside Soap, Nickelodeon, What’s On TV, Radio Times, Metro, Girl Talk, Disney Girl, Toxic! and Digital Spy. He has reported LIVE from the red carpet at The British Soap Awards interviewing glammed-up stars from soapland, and hosted a Facebook LIVE session for Metro with Home and Away legend Ray Meagher (Alf "Stone the flamin' crows!" Stewart) to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Aussie soap.

Simon is also co-author of The Treasures Of Coronation Street (Carlton Books)

And the writer and director of (very!) low budget fright flick, Midsummer Night's EVIL and the sequel webisodes series, The Hatchet Woods HORROR.
