When surgery midwife Ruhma tries to help a couple having IVF treatment, it leads Mrs Tembe to confess the truth about her crisis of faith...
Surgery practice manager Mrs Tembe just hasn't been herself since the car crash which killed Dr Heston Carter. She has secretly been struggling with a loss of faith over what happened.
But when Heston's widow, surgery midwife Ruhma Carter, tries to help a couple who are struggling to pay for IVF treatment so they can fulfil their dream of having a baby, it leads Mrs Tembe to tell Ruhma about her own secret battle...
Meanwhile, Laura Wade (played by ex-Corrie actress Julia Haworth) and her husband Russell are saddened by the news of their doctor Heston's death as they continue with the IVF treatment at St Phil's.
After reminiscing with Laura about Heston, Ruhma is determined to find a way to help the couple when she discovers the desperate measures they are taking to meet the cost of IVF treatment. But what can Ruhma do to help their situation?
Elsewhere, will Daniel Granger get to the bottom of his daughter Izzie's bratty behaviour when she reveals a secret?
And everyone is puzzled by receptionist Valerie Pitman's decision to wear 'all beige' clothes as a lifestyle statement. Will it be left to Karen Hollins to end Valerie's fashion faux pas?
