During a heart-to-heart with her former flame, Mrs Tembe tells Reverend Gordon Clement she is struggling with her belief in God

Mrs Tembe has been having a crisis of faith since the shock car crash which killed her good friend, Dr Heston Carter.

Luckily, the surgery practice manager has found the perfect soul to share her woes with, in the shape of her former flame, Reverend Gordon Clement.

During a heart-to-heart with Gordon, Mrs Tembe admits Heston's death has shaken her faith in God. Will Gordon offer her some words of advice on finding her faith again?

Meanwhile, The Mill opens its doors to help the homeless. But the event proves emotional for midwife Ruhma Carter when she hears her late hubby Heston's favourite version of Silent Night playing. Then she gets into a tussle with a homeless man, Barry 'Boz' Harriot, over one of Heston's old jackets which has been donated...

Can Ruhma find it in her heart to give the jacket to Boz and let another part of Heston go?

Also during the day, Al Haskey does his best to help when he meets a troubled elderly couple Lionel and Audrey Tungent who found themselves homeless after the care home where they lived was shut down.

But Al quickly becomes concerned when there seems to be something seriously wrong with Audrey...
