Doctors, Rob Hollins, Peter "Boggy" Matkin

Rob is struck by serious head pains while out to arrest a petty criminal called Boggy. Is the policeman suffering with more than just 'man flu'?

Rob Hollins is back on the beat after being struck down with a case of 'man flu'.

However, while the policeman is investigating a dodgy door-to-door seller Peter 'Boggy' Matkin, he's struck by a sharp pain just as he's about to arrest Boggy. The petty criminal almost makes a run for it, until Rob issues a stern warning!

Back at the police station, Rob is interviewing Boggy when he's struck by pain again. But when Boggy cheekily suggests Rob is suffering from drug withdrawal symptoms, could the criminal be right? What is wrong with Rob?

Meanwhile, surgery practice manager Mrs Tembe is making another of her VPAS visits when she meets a young woman, Tessa Bruntwood, who is scared to leave her home after being held captive in the basement of a local house for nine years...

Mrs Tembe is determined to help but is thrown by Tessa's frustration and anger towards those who didn't help her at the time. What can Mrs Tembe do?

And Zara Carmichael is in an irritable mood as she prepares to take her son Joe on a visit to Weston-Super-Mare, knowing how much he'll miss his dad Daniel while they are away.

Writer

Simon has long been a fan of soap operas, and especially loves OVER-THE-TOP plots involving evil twins, hair-pulling catfights and natural disasters. Anyone remember the Sunset Beach earthquake/tidal wave? Or when Krystle Carrington got locked in the attic and replaced by look-a-like Rita in Dynasty?!

Simon has written for a variety of TV and childrens’ magazines/websites including Inside Soap, Nickelodeon, What’s On TV, Radio Times, Metro, Girl Talk, Disney Girl, Toxic! and Digital Spy. He has reported LIVE from the red carpet at The British Soap Awards interviewing glammed-up stars from soapland, and hosted a Facebook LIVE session for Metro with Home and Away legend Ray Meagher (Alf "Stone the flamin' crows!" Stewart) to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Aussie soap.

Simon is also co-author of The Treasures Of Coronation Street (Carlton Books)

And the writer and director of (very!) low budget fright flick, Midsummer Night's EVIL and the sequel webisodes series, The Hatchet Woods HORROR.
