Emmerdale spoilers! Cain Dingle BEATEN as he confronts Matty's attacker

Cain Dingle confronts Matty's attacker Isaac who then beats the hardnut mechanic to a pulp

Cain Dingle is livid when Matty Barton (Ash Palmisciano) confides in him about the attack.

Furious to hear that his stepson, who is transgender, was set upon on New Year's Eve by an ex, Isaac, from his days as Hannah Barton, Cain (Jeff Hordley) wants to make Isaac pay.

Outside a pub, Cain lies in wait before pouncing when Isaac tips up! But as the mechanic grabs Isaac, memories of his ordeal with Joe Tate come rushing back.

Still ridden with guilt about his clash with his daughter Debbie's fiance Joe – which Cain has been led to believe resulted in Joe's death – Cain finds himself paralysed and unable to fight. But as the Dingle retreats towards his car, Isaac, now joined by his friends, circle him and beat Cain to a bloodied pulp.

Still feeling horrible about having turned 50, Bernice Blackstock (Sam Giles) can't shake the feeling Liam would prefer a younger woman. When doctor Liam (Jonny McPherson) tends to Priya Sharma (Fiona Wade) who's hurt herself, Bernice's paranoia increases. Acting on a comment made by Kerry, Bernice goes online and buys some Botox.

Elsewhere, Harriet Finch (Katherine Dow Blyton) tries her hardest to get sex-worker Dawn to listen to her.
