Emmerdale spoilers! Love trouble: Billy gives his stepdad Marlon some advice about Jessie

Billy warns Marlon about Al in Emmerdale

Marlon's marriage to Jessie is in a bad place and her ex, Al, being on the scene isn't helping warns Billy

Trouble has dogged Marlon's (Mark Charnock) relationship with Jessie (Sandra Marvin). Ever since the teacher came into his life in Emmerdale it's been one thing after another. But nonetheless the hapless chef fell for her and married her.

The last thorn in the couple's side is Jessie's ex, Al (Michael Wildman), who's the father of her son Ellis (Asan N'Jie). But Al's not to be trusted and has got the blended family in a right spin since he turned up.

Though Ellis' head has been turned by his smooth-operator dad, his former stepson Billy (Jay Kontzle) hasn't been swayed. He's well aware of how shady Al is and warns good-egg new stepdad Marlon, not to let Jessie get too close to Al.

When Al's made part of the football team, dirty play on the pitch soon follows. Later, after the game, Al sweet-talks Jessie before moving in for a kiss… Will she reciprocate?

Tracy is bitter in Emmerdale

Another day, another row between grieving sisters Vanessa (Michelle Hardwick) and Tracy (Amy Walsh). This time they're quarrelling over their dad Frank's ashes. Tracy wants nothing to do with them.

Meanwhile, secret toker Doug (Duncan Preston) is caught smoking cannabis by Pollard (Chris Chittell)! Will he, er, grass?
