Robert realises he's facing a murder charge when Victoria's rapist Lee dies in hospital, and flees with his husband

Emmerdale's favourite couple Robron goes on the run in Tuesday’s episode (7pm, see our brand new TV guide for full listings).

When Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley) learns from his sister Victoria (Isabel Hodgins) that her rapist Lee Posner has died in hospital, his blood chills. About to stand trial in for attacking Lee, Robert knows he's now looking at a murder charge in Emmerdale which carries a life sentence.

Desperate to avoid such a bleak fate, he and husband Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) decide the only thing they can do is run. Aaron's mum Chas (Lucy Pargeter) is devastated as she says goodbye to her beloved son.

At Butler's, Cain (Jeff Hordley) despairs when his mum Faith (Sally Dexter) insists on meddling in his marriage having noticed it's not at it's best. But when Faith tries to summon her daughter-in-law, Moira (Natalie J Robb) is too busy with secret lover Nate (Jurell Carter) and doesn't pick up.

Heckles raised, Faith then puts two and two together when she clocks Moira having a hush-hush convo with Pete, who's recently moved out of Butler's and into the B&B…
