Emmerdale spoilers! Poorly Sarah Sugden falls ill at her school dance

Sarah Sugden falls ill when she attends her school dance

Debbie Dingle (Charley Webb) is a mum on the edge. Her daughter Sarah who has been plagued with health issues seemingly for all her young life now needs a heart transplant as a consequence of chemotherapy. Desperate for the scary prognosis not to be true the family seeks a second opinion and are heartbroken when the consultant comes up with the same result.

But Sarah isn't about to shy away from life. In fact, she's determined to carry on as normal and have fun with her friends. With the school dance looming, she tells the doc she feels fine but as Sarah heads upstairs it's clear she's far from it.

Ignoring all the warning signs that she's not up to the dance, Sarah hides her struggles, gets dressed up and is dropped off at her school. But Sarah's illness has come along for the ride and is determined to take her down…

At the B&B, Diane and Pollard tell Doug that following all the problems he caused, they don't want him working there any more.

With the Dingles unaware Chas' pregnancy is far from straight-forward and healthy, Faith inadvertently puts her foot in it when she warns Paddy and his fiancee to enjoy themselves as much as they can before the birth.
