Emmerdale spoilers! Stag do DISASTER for Marlon and Sam Dingle
Marlon Dingle takes Sam on a stag go ahead of his surprise wedding – and the cousins end up passing out in the back of van
On Christmas Eve, with Jessie Grant about to throw a surprise wedding for her and Marlon Dingle, she needs her man out of the way. So while she and Lydia Hart get to organising the last details, Marlon's told Lydia's surprising Sam (James Hooten) with a wedding and is instructed to take out his cousin Sam on a surreptitious stag do.
Marlon (Mark Charnock) does as he's told to great effect. The Dingle men get hammered and end up passing out in the back of a van which then drives out of the village!
Meanwhile, Jessie (Sandra Marvin) and Lydia (Karen Blick) are flat out with wedding prep. But Jessie despairs when she finds Monty the dog wolfing their wedding cake and starts to worry the whole darn thing is cursed.
Elsewhere, stress is mounting, too. Bob Hope (Tony Audenshaw) is already broke so when Pollard (Chris Chittell) hands him a bill for his stay at the B&B, he's in dire straits. Later, at the hospital, as he accompanies Santa handing out presents, Bob clocks a package and considers pinching it for the twins. Will he go there?
At Victoria Cottage, Jimmy King (Nick Miles) tires of the feud raging between his wife Nicola (Nicola Wheeler) and her sister Bernice (Sam Giles). But Rodney's (Patrick Mower) optimistic he can get his girls talking in time for Christmas.
