Emmerdale spoilers! Vanessa Woodfield is ARRESTED - but why?

Vanessa's arrested in Emmerdale

The vet is yanked out the hospital by police when she and Tracy Metcalfe have a blazing row on the wards…

Emmerdale vet Vanessa Woodfield is handcuffed and taken to the cells in Tuesday’s episode (7pm, see our TV Guide for full listings). What's she done?

It couldn't get any messier for sisters Vanessa (Michelle Hardwick) and Tracy Metcalfe (Amy Walsh). At long last, the grieving siblings know their dad wasn't guilty of the Sharma factory fire which killed him. Kerry (Laura Norton) and Amy Wyatt (Natalie Ann Jamieson) have admitted they were to blame.

But the confession resulted in a panicked struggle which saw Kerry fall and get knocked unconscious as terrified Tracy tried to get away. The four women are now locked in a stalemate with both pairs unable to report a crime without implicating themselves in another.

At the hospital, Vanessa gets into a full-on row with Amy and in the fracas, she hits a nurse! And with that, the vet is arrested! Under questioning, will furious Vanessa reveal the Wyatt duo's killer secret about her dad Frank?

Elsewhere, Kim ate (Claire King) tells Graham Foster (Andrew Scarborough)  to do whatever it takes to get Ryan (James Moore) on side.

And Bernice (Sam Giles) and Liam (Jonny McPherson) accidentally sabotage rivals Sam (James Hooton) and Lydia's (Karen Blick) wedding competition entry.

Emmerdale continues on ITV.
